Jeff Larson is an artist, instructor, and photographer living and working in South Florida. Born and raised in Wisconsin during the sixties and the seventies he grew up in Washington, DC .   He received his BFA with a double concentration of Ceramics and Photography in 2006 from the University of Miami.  He articulated that information into a MFA in Photography/Digital Imaging again at the University of Miami in 2010.  He currently teaches as a Full Lecturer at the University of Miami.

His work explores his idea of the "Everyman" or everyday objects as sources of art.  Using photography and large scale printing, Larson produced 'Men In Their Living Rooms' along with 'Jesus and the Apostles.'  'Faces of Continuum' explored his "Everyman" with large prints that are appropriated from Martin Schoeller and Edward Steichen. He is currently working on 'the Nothingness of Formality,' 'Untitled Abstractions,' and 'Men in Bedrooms.'  His work is in the collections of the Kinsey Institute of Sexuality, Permanent Collection of the Arts & Sciences College at the University of Miami, and various private collectors in Mexico City, the Netherlands, and Washington, DC,  and Miami, FL.
